FUNNY ABBY MOMENT

Most mornings I'm half way ready for work by the time Abby lumbers out of bed. She isn't a morning person and is a bit of a bear. :) Well she's been noticing my bra's lately and she's been calling them my swimsuit. "Mom you putting on your swimsuit !?" No Abby it's a bra.

Side not: I hate clothes so I don't get fully dressed until I absolutely have to. TMI I know, but you need to know this or what she says next won't make sense.

So this morning in particular she woke up beastly as usual and she starts yelling..."that's mine"! I'm looking around for something that she can't get to...I find nothing. "THAT'S MINE!" I mean she is really upset like a teenager finding out her sister has on her favorite pair of pants. I finally look at her and to what she's pointing at and she is pointing to my "swimsuit"/bra.
OH...!
I told her that it wasn't hers and that it was mine. Obviously she was not awake enough for THAT to make sense. Well if in her head it belonged to her I simply asked if I could borrow it.

She said, "No"!

So I went to my drawer and found her this one. She seemed to be okay with that! :)

Seriously looking at that picture I don't even think she is awake! She must have been sleep walking!
NEW POST....It's about time!

Well the last we saw of the garden we were still trying to just get it cleaned up.
Since then we have planted ourVeggies...some of which survived the extremely wet spring.
Now it is harvest season and we are enjoying Apricots, Tomatoes, Tomatoes, Tomatoes, Corn, Zucchini, Zucchini, Zucchini.....sometimes we over plant certain crops! oops!

The GARDEN!

I know...thanks for the close-up right!? We successfully got, I think, 6 rows of corn going this year. Next year we can fill half of the pool and still have room for the rest of the garden. As you can almost see there is still plenty of room in the front.

I was trying to cut down all the dead branches while we had the tall ladder in the yard. Notice that you can see the yard!

Harvest! Yummy...I love having fresh veggies! The little red things in front of the basket are cherry peppers. Apparently they taste like a bell pepper, but have a mild heat to them like a mild jalapeno. They are quite tasty.
I thought they were just a jalapeno type pepper and plucked off a bunch of them when they were green thinking I don't want the pepper to be supper Hot (RED)! Then I looked at the tag that comes with the plant when you buy them and sure enough there's the picture of cherry red peppers! Duh!

We went to Rexburg last weekend. Erin was down from Washington to take pictures of Baby Kayla. She of course is always willing to do family pictures! Yeah for having a great photographer in the family!

THANKS ERIN!
