Memorial Day Weekend
Lower Falls and Big Springs

We had a blast this weekend visiting our family up in Rexburg.
Friday night we had Debbie's famous pizza and then stayed up watching Sherlock Holmes.

Saturday we ignored the rainy weather and went site seeing.

LOWER MESA FALLS

Here are the kids in front of the lookout.

We took pictures of all the Families in front of the scenic vista.

The Lawrence's

The Cameron's

BIG SPRINGS

Abby on "the" Rock.

A cute little lookout over the spring.
"Don't fall in Abby!"

The kids on the log. Abby is looking like she hasn't had a nap.

Running down the path.

To explain why Debbie is standing that way... I was trying to get the girls to stop so I could take the picture. Debbie stopped, however, the girls did not.

Okay this is gross, but extremely funny! The path that goes around the spring is lined by asphalt. Apparently the woodland creatures in this area can read signs and adhere strictly to the "stay on the marked path" rule. Every 10 feet was a "chocolate covered trail mix" pile.

The entire time we are yelling at the kids: WATCH OUT FOR THE POOP! NOT THE POOP! YOU STEPPED IN THE POOP!

Debbie showing us the poop!

More on the log.
MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND
ROAD TRIP
Upper Mesa Falls
This is not in the right order I apologize. This was stop 2 of 3.

At the upper falls there was a cabin that the park has turned into a visitor's center. This was fun for kids and it was dry.

Sadie and Abby petting the bear.

Debbie figured out that when taking pictures we could make it look like you had antlers. I want to see the picture with Heather's Horns! :)
(Sorry the flash bounced off Eric's Jacket)

The kids warily standing under the bear. What you don't see is Kendal running out of the picture once she looked up and SAW that we were taking a picture under the bear.

Mommy and Abby with the Moose.

Did I mention it was raining? Eric, Sadie and Renae (she is under the hoodie with the pink hat).

OH...here is a picture OF the Falls!

These are the stairs we got to climb. It was good times!
Memorial Day Camping

Yep...there they are....the whole 2 pictures I got before my camera died. Thankfully Debbie got my back on this one. I have all the pictures of the Falls.

The little ladies on Monday Morning.

The super rad camping trailer. Who needs public facilities when you go camping with Eric? No one! No one needs them. This thing has it all! ( And yes I used the word... rad...I'm going to create a come back on that one!)
